Applying for your Indian visa

• Visa type:e-B5 Business. The former conference visa has been folded into this category, which is why you will not find a "conference" option. Select e-Business Visa and proceed.
• MEA reference number:INCEPC2508269013MUS. Quote this wherever the application asks for the conference approval or reference. It applies to all Pseudomonas 2026 delegates.

Documents to have ready before you start

• Passport photograph — square, JPEG, under 1 MB. A plain head-and-shoulders photo against a white wall is fine; a phone selfie is acceptable.
• Passport face page — scan, PDF, under 300 KB.
• Invitation letter — PDF, issued by us.
• MEA authorization — PDF, issued by us.

If you have held an Indian visa before, you will need its number. If you have visited India before, you will need the address where you stayed.

Organizer and reference details
Enter these exactly as shown.

You will also be asked for a reference in your own country. That is simply a colleague or family member with an address and telephone number — nothing official is required.

Two cautions

• If you hold a diplomatic or official passport, you are not eligible for an electronic visa. Answer Yes to that question, stop, and write to us — you will need a paper visa through your own government's channels, and it takes longer.
• Fees vary by nationality and the portal adds charges on top, so budget more than the headline figure.
